The Spelthorne Centre Family
The Spelthorne Family Centres, operated by the Surrey Care Trust on behalf of Surrey County Council, provide targeted early help and family support services for families with children aged 0 to 18 (25 year where there is a special educational need) living in the Spelthorne borough. Teams of expert staff based at the centres aim to support families where circumstances are having a significant impact on the health, development, or wellbeing of the child or children.

We offer a range of services designed to support families, including one-to-one family support, parenting programmes, and group activities that address common challenges such as establishing family routines and promoting child safety. Support is delivered in a variety of settings — in the family home, at community venues, or at the centre itself — depending on what best meets the needs of each family.
In addition, the centres provide access to specialist services such as breastfeeding support, speech and language support, and guidance with school applications and completing forms.
We work closely with a broad network of Early Help services to support children, parents, and carers. Support may be offered through group sessions or on an individual basis with one of our Outreach Workers.
We are committed to supporting families in our community, and our goal is to work in partnership with you to help enhance family life. Our service is confidential, and our staff are approachable, friendly, and informal. Families and professionals can request support through Surrey Children's Single Point of Access (C-SPA). Once a referral is made and parents have agreed to receive help, the family centre team will contact the family to offer appropriate support.
