We have three family centres in Spelthorne. They are in Stanwell, Clarendon and Buckland.

  • We have full nappy changing facilities at the centre which are clean and easy to use. Please note that you are unable to leave soiled nappies at the centre. Please bring all nappies home with you.

  • Spelthorne Family Centres are breastfeeding friendly centre. We will provide a private space for you to feed your baby and the staff will make sure you are comfortable.  You can drop in at any time to breastfeed your baby.

  • You can bring food into the Family Centre where healthy eating is encouraged.  

  • We are open all year round, Monday to Friday from 8.30am-4.30pm. We close between Christmas and New Year.

  • The Centre is a safe and secure place for your child to play. All children must be supervised by an adult.

  • The staff are really friendly and we will always help a first-time visitor to the Centre. Just call us and find out how we can help you.

The Clarendon Family Centre is a welcoming community hub in Ashford, Surrey, dedicated to supporting families with children from pregnancy up to age 19, or 25 years where there is an additional need. Situated within the grounds of Clarendon Primary School, just a short walk from Ashford High Street, the centre offers a wide range of services designed to promote family wellbeing and resilience.

Families can access one-to-one support from outreach workers, parenting programmes, and group activities that address common parenting challenges, such as establishing family routines and ensuring child safety. Support is provided in various settings, including the family home, community venues, or at the centre itself, depending on what best suits the family's needs.

What you need to know about Clarendon Family Centre

  • You can leave your buggy in our covered buggy park which is at the entrance of the centre. We don’t allow buggies in the Centre for safety reasons. We have locks to secure your buggy, just ask at reception.
