Parenting course & resources

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual—but we’re here to help you feel more confident, connected, and supported. At Spelthorne Family Centres, we offer a variety of free or low-cost parenting courses and practical resources to support you at every stage of your child’s journey. Whether you're navigating toddler tantrums, school transitions, or teenage emotions, our friendly, evidence-based programmes offer useful tools, tips, and space to share experiences with other parents.

Can we have a legend to denote which course is available at which Centre?

*Please note children cannot attend any of our parenting courses and unfortunately we are not able to provide a créche.

Surrey’s Family Early Help Hub

Have you ever wondered why your child is behaving a certain way? Is that behaviour typical? What could be causing it? Is something wrong? These are common worries for everyone looking after babies, toddlers, children and teenagers. Surrey's Family Help Hub developed by Surrey County Council with lots of help from all our partners, is a site with a difference. You can search for information you need based on your child’s age and find advice, tips and tools from a variety of trusted sources all in one place.
